No one seems to want this board. The reviews did a good job of showing that Momoka failed at launch for their first board. Too bad.
And who designed this? What do the fish and Dodo have to do with a zoo?
I and most custom enthusiasts don't care for RGB, my production unit has no ping at all. I cannot care less about the name and where I see the board on daily basis it's plain clean. My blue is very close to render, photo above.
Really loving this board from what I see so far, few things of note, seems the description forgot to mention it, but the board does in fact support QMK and VIA according to the main website. Also, curiously the foam cutouts suggest SMD LED support, but the PCB has none, here's hoping there comes an optional PCB that does support that.
Are these boards updated with the launch/after review changes, ie.
Reduced Sound of Hollowness
↑Increased Thickness of Bottom Pad 1.4mm → 3mm
↑Better Consistency in Color between Frame and Bottom Housing
↓Reduced Ping Noise (Resulted by better CNC accuracy)
I didn't notice it until I already had it built but just a warning to others who have yet to build it, check your PE foam to make sure all the holes are present. Mine were not...
M0ngaloidI've built a couple of these recently and noticed the same, but you can just put the switch in as normal. The pins will punch right through the PE foam without any issue.
OlliebobsYou would think that it would increase the ping since cleaner surface would introduce more reverberation in the case. I did not see any of the reviewers put in a force break mod. I think that and some polyfill would take care of the ping and keep some of the case characteristics.
