Product Description
In 1944, Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker designed what would go on to become the Official Swiss Railway Clock, which featured an easy-to-read dial with large black stick markers and a bright red seconds hand. About 40 years after the clock’s debut, Mondaine received official license from the Swiss Federal Railways to use this design as a tribute to Swiss watchmaking tradition Read More

A desk-clock with 98 feet of water resistance? Sounds like more of desk-diver to me!

Vanchrismine came with a battery. Lasted about 6-months. The magnet either fell out or was never there. I've posted this in other discussions and have had others reply with the same experience.

This watch in not my "cup of tea", however I would love to see more desk clocks here on massdrop (like panerai or example)

I just want to say Thanks to Massdrop for no longer offering anything I’d remotely consider buying. My bank account is much happier.

WatchyoutalkingaboutMore true now than ever before. And what the hell are they thinking with this new “Rewards” melodrama they’ve introduced?!

RayFI now have $15 to use on a product I don’t even want from a company I don’t even like. That’s the rewards program the way I see it.

Does anyone know if this one stops at the top of the minute for a few seconds and then move the minute hand like the big mondaine railway clocks?

OthinusThe stop-and-go movement is much more expensive than this clock alltogether...

One expects to come across a certain number of questions and comments on these drops from folks who are obviously not "watch-people", but I had no idea there were an equal number of folks out there who are obviously not "clock-people" either! I blame cellphones of course. Case in point: while checking MDs price for this clock against Amazon's, I read a user review where the writer pointed out having a desk clock was handy, for those occasions when one is using an app on a cellphone that hides the phone's time display! No doubt that's just what Mondaine had in mind when they created this little clock--helping Millennials limp through life's awkward time display dead-zones. How thoughtful of them ;- )
