High quality feel, clean attractive display, minor irritating flaws
No question about it, the Mondaine Railways Tube Desk Clock looks great on my desk and has a high quality feel when curious visitors pick it up. The display is crisp, clear and exudes the kind of efficiency you associate with Swiss railways. Only 2 criticisms; the instructions do not tell you how to remove the clock from the tube to adjust the time/date settings (you poke a pen or pencil through the hole at the bottom and push) and you have to remove the clock to adjust the time and date (time is a bi-annual chore, but every month you have to adjust the date). Overall, the look and feel outweighs the adjustment issues. I love it.

Well a physical desktop application as in a clock, just the right angle so you can glance down and see the time and in the beautiful Swiss Railway style. Easy to read, no more searching your computer screen to know what time it is. Lovely clock

Misleading ad.
Looking at the depicted stainless steel clock, would you believe that ONLY the black clock was available? Reading the spec of "Material: Stainless steel", would you believe that only the black clock was available. The word "black" appearing nowhere in the ad, would you believe that only the black clock was available?
That's what the first DROP associate told me when I wanted to return it. Fortunately a more reasonable associate answered my second email and I have returned it.
DROP : have accurate descriptions and depictions.
The clock? I'll buy the stainless version when it shows up.

A great iconic piece of Swiss railway on your desk. I put a small piece of tape on the inside of the stainless steel tube, so the 6 o'clock lines up.

Small and stylish. Just beware before buying that it is barely a "clock" in terms of size. Even for a "Desk Clock" it's much closer to a plus-size watch (there are watches on Massdrop that are bigger than this).
Clear and very legible; as you would expect from a Mondaine! Very nice.
