Awesome news! The group's order ended up arriving earlier to our warehouse in New Jersey and our team is now hard at work breaking down the shipment into the individual packages. We anticipate everything going out by the middle of this week and we'll be sure to update the group again once we've confirmed complete shipment.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/8 or sooner if something comes up.
It’s a go! Thanks to all of you for being a part of this successful drop. We have submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the Mondaine Sport Day/Date Watch. They are currently preparing the shipment and once we receive it at our warehouse in New Jersey, we’ll separate everything into individual orders and send them out to you! We expect your orders will be in transit from our warehouse by 10/9.
In the meantime, we’ll do everything we can to update you on information we receive from the vendor about your order status so you know the location of your order throughout the process.
Thanks again for being a part of this community! You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/5 .
ChristopherJUnfortunately, since the item is shipped from US it will be processed in customs and calculated VAT on it ( applies to all items above certain price point which are imported in EU from outside ) . Thanks never the less :) , maybe when Massdrop Europe emerges it will be easier :) greetings.
Buyer beware - I bought the last Mondaine drop - the watch like this with the alarm function. It arrived Monday of this week and the alarm hand can't be moved. Have sent repeated notes to Massdrop asking what to do and only response was to tell me they've forwarded my mail to the Men's Apparel department. Buying a knife or screwdriver on Massdrop makes sense, but I'm not sure buying watches or electronics makes sense given my experience here.
SubdudeHey @Subdude, I actually did get your inquiry however our Customer Support department has been really backed up so it sounds like they haven't had the chance to respond. Have you checked the lid of the box for the manual? There's a pull tab and there's paperwork in there. Also, in the 2nd paragraph on the alarm page, the functionality was described in more detail. To change the alarm hand, you should actvate the alarm by pulling out the alarm crown. Then you should pull out the time crown one click and then you will be able to set the alarm hand. Hope this helps!
ChristopherJNot at all unfortunately. I sent a 2nd note in about this. I found the manual and followed the directions and it is clearly broken. The instructions say "Pull the crown to position 2 and rotate it to set the desired alarm time." There does not appear to be a working "position 2" - only positions 1 & 3 (3 sets the time). To make things worse, the alarm button itself appears to be broken - when you pull it out, it comes off! So, the issue isn't about instructions - it's about a watch arriving broken and now days later I still don't know what's going to happen.
Does this watch have the 2-second delay second hand? (Where it stops at the 12 and the minute hand "clicks" an advance, then the second hand catches up)
