How the hell would you fit an "AA" battery in it.

Didn't even notice that. I was going by the discription where it states "Case width: 50mm". Guess that was copied and pasted from another Mondaine discription.

Yeahhhh idk, a little sketchy all around. The nightstand picture is clearly photoshopped so we have no idea whether it's actually to scale or not. The rest of the pictures and the leather case would seem to imply that the 50mm isn't that far off.

I got the Mondaine from Drop that came in the Red case; it looks just like this except for it's in a red block (I think black was the other option). After less than 6-months and the battery is dead. It looses time every month. There are supposed to be 3 magnets on the back, but there are only two. I wouldn't buy another.

rpaulsenI bought 2 of those as well. Same results. Dead batteries within months and missing magnets to hold the clock in its base (block). It falls out quite easily.

Certainly no irony lost on me that we currently have drops for a clock and a watch that are both the same size ;- )
