I don't think the number of requests is the critical governing parameter, you can find items with hundreds of requests while the drop happened more than two months ago. It depends on the vendor and massdrop itself as well. You can easily find past drops with hundreds of requests but still no drops happened after a long time. As I said earlier, if you're in the US, just buy it from Amazon or monoprice, cos you won't be able to save over $10 here. If not, you may wait and save about $20 because of the cheaper shipping option here. You can view the past drops to have an idea of how long it usually takes for a popular drop to happen again.
