received this..super nice, my first monoprice purchase.. really exceeded my expectation. <br /><br />obviuosly a lot of people buys over 10k pack, i assume there is a reason for that, i may check some reviews on amazon see what people are doing with that much power..but i think for now i need to figure out how i'd ever need to use this..i mean most device run for an easy couple hours..you'd be stuck outside for a whole day to need battery
lyrillI agree, this thing feels/looks great. I stuck with this buy because:<br /><br />1. Love Monoprice and what they do, and have always supported them.<br />2. Between my Zune HD and my Razr Maxx, I can get about 1 full charge for each device, so 5000mAh should cut it.<br /><br />They're really nice for long trips or emergency cases. I'll also use them if I'm doing a 2-3 hour drive with GPS on my phone, as I don't use cig-chargers.
so anyone can comment on whether this IS a good price or should I NOT bother with 5k mah? I have ipad 2, iphone 4, kindle fire h d 8.9, i'd be using them all and I'd want more than one charge if I really am outside for longer than 1 charge then I'd want a third charge possibility just to be safe
According to Lifehacker.com, anyone can get the 50+ price discount on any product at Monoprice through Sept. 15 by entering code EMP0823 at the checkout.<br /><br />The $5 shipping on this product seems high, so I'm going to pass. I've ordered a $15 charger from Amazon with Amazon Prime (no shipping). If it doesn't work, I'll consider buying from Monoprice. The price with the code will be $26 plus change plus shipping, but I'm hoping the Amazon product will work out.
massifSometime ago I bougth 5 of similar product of same designe by PROPORTA and wish that this models had on/off switch reccessed like the model on this addvertisment. Never the less be aware that output amperige is at 2,1 A if you were to use this batteries for apple devices such as iPad's and not 1 or 1,5 Amps at 5 volts. For about two years of extensive use with my iPod and external 2,5 inches WiFi HDD, I can say only good things about it. Recharging is done, quiet successfuly, with 10 watts 12 volts, regulated down to 5.7 volts DC foldable monochristaline solar panel. If you bush travel this units are must not only for you tracking devices but you mobile phone to considering that if you are lost anywhere, away from mobile cells, you be still able to use international emergency number which gets picked up by satelites and in that way inables rescue services to find you. I also have USB rechargable torch....priceless.
Would this be a good product for the Arizer Solo massdrop? I read online that the battery in that is 2200maH, so with this I should get 2 full charges?
pocketdrummeryou can cancel orders by emailing support with the transaction ID as long as the drop is running, but it seems like a fair price for a handy dandy device to me
