Man I didnt even know Monoprice sold hard cases. LOL at the MSRP though! Might actually pick one of these up though. Seems like a good size for a handgun range case. Have to cut some closed cell foam for it though.

ben_r_Indeed sir my custom 1911 would love this new home. However it might be a little over kill for my needs.

JasonGOverkill?! Youre kidding right? If you have a true custom 1911 (ie Ed Brown, Les Baer, Wilson, etc) its worth well over $2000. And that being the case, anything less than even a Pelican is FAR from overkill. In fact I wouldnt even considering this case for the Dan Wesson Valor I'm about to buy and thats "just" the highest end production with custom parts!
