A reflective shield that minimizes ambient noise, the Monoprice Microphone Isolation Shield makes the difference between a live recording and a polished mix.
Construction
Lined with a porous acoustic foam that attenuates sound waves with increased air resistance, the shield reduces the wave amplitude and the amount of resonance in your environment, resulting in crisper recordings. The vented back metal plate allows a small amount of air flow, preventing sound waves from reflecting off the shield and back into the microphone. An easy set-up thanks to a dual clamp mounting bracket and adjustable panels, your Microphone Isolation Shield can create acoustic isolation chambers of any size, anywhere.
Installation
Using the included mounting hardware, you can easily construct your Monoprice Microphone Isolation Shield and mount any standard 3/8” and 5/8” threaded microphones. Allowing for versatile configurations, the microphone boom can be mounted from either the top or bottom of the acoustic chamber.
