ok, everyone commenting had me pretty worried. here's my story. I received no shipping notification, but mine arrived yesterday. I hooked it up to my 1 gb Radeon. it took a minute to figure out how the buttons worked, but I was able to switch it over to DVI. it wasn't easy though, the "enter" button doesn't exist, but another button functions as it. I can't remember which now at work. one of the first ones. I could see how someone would have trouble switching it, its not as simple as pushing source. alright, so I got it powered on, and I would say the backlight is bright, but not as bright as some of these people made it seem. it may be a problem if you were trying to do professional graphics or color balancing your photos. I don't forsee it being a problem for me. its a cheap monitor. I'm happy at this point. it looks nice
