I bought a Korean monitor from eBay non pixel perfect version and it came with no dead pixels at all, it did however have a noticeable amount of back light bleeding. Does this monitor have any? And is it vesa wall mount compatible? Thanks.

LoonatikI bought this in a previous drop, and there is a noticeable amount of backlight bleed, but it is not excessive. It is my first IPS monitor, but I understand that some amount of bleed is common. I only find it to be irritating when watching a movie with dark scenes when the lights in my room are turned off.

Philbert579As a display quality snob, this is a deal-breaker.

KnwtmsynThat's the reason these panels are able to be sold for these prices (more specifically the models direct from Korean for ~$300 and sometimes even less), because they're A- panels rejected by Apple/HP/Dell/Asus/etc for use in their own displays.
The competition from these has caused a good number of 'A-level' brand name 2560x1440 IPS panels to come in just under $500, which isn't too bad.
Acer even has a solid AHVA 2560x1440 panel that regularly sells for $400, but has been as low as $330!
