I actually just got to play with one if these this weekend. The back light bleed does exist around the edges but it is minor. I've Actually seen worse on the high end apple displays. The solid glass front that goes over the screen and bezel is very sharp looking but it is a fingerprint magnet. the brightness and color quality is what you would expect from a high end ips panel. The downside is that the anti glare coating causes some color washout when viewing it from an angle. Not nearly as bad as the color shift you get with TN panels but noticeable when compared to my HP IPS panel.
