Theoretically, 1.4 does, yes. Practically, though, the answer is no. There are only 3 carriers of 1440/1600p. 1) Dual-link DVI-D, 2) 29-pin Type B HDMI connector, 3) DisplayPort As of today, you will be hard-pressed to find any HDMI outputs -or- inputs that accept a full 1440/1600p (essentially 4k) signal.

SeanC@Sean I don't believe 1440 or 1600p is essentially a 4k signal. 4k UHD is 3840x2160 which is 8,294,400 pixels. Even 2560x1600 is 4,096,000 pixels. Less than half the number of pixels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4K_resolution.
