Hello All: Edit: 7/11: I have actually noticed a thin black line of what i assume is dead pixels while editing in photoshop -- tho, it kind of looks like a spec of dust trapped behind the glass :/ I'd like to also add another gripe: The stand is a PoS. Do not try to tilt the monitor down! it doesn't take much to tip over. Mine did and I couldn't catch it before the top corner banged into my desk hutch. Spiderwebs on my glass. Otherwise So far it's still running. Received the package today (7/8) though i missed the first attempt on Friday, the 5th. Monitor arrived in perfect condition. There is somewhat noticeable bleed on the corners, but that doesn't affect [my] kinda work on the day to day. I don't find any dead pixels, either. Also It appears that this can be mounted, but they included 2 (out of 4?) screws where the mount would go but they are too short to fit over the mount bracket to tighten. *(Anyone know the actual screw size?). My only hands-on gripe with the monitor is that I, too, can't get the input to work going DVI to DVI. I had to rely on the VGA connector which bites cause i had to scramble back to 1998 to find a cable. ~.~ Also, my personal gripe has to do with the back panel with the connections. Just doesn't seem practical to have the AC adapter sit on the top of the monitor (covering the connections for DVI input no less), especially to have that brick floating if you plan to mount this higher than 3 feet off the floor. Lastly, I connected this to a Mac Pro with a 1gig graphics card with 1 output of duallink DVI and 2 mini Display ports. initially, the monitor rendered some weird resolutions and the highest resolution available was not the 2560x1600 option. if i tried the highest resolution, the screen would just go blank without reverting back. However, i connected a second monitor to one of the mini display ports and that seemingly 'woke up' the monoprice monitor again--this time rendering in full 2560 resolution. Contrary to the manual, there was not 'detect display' option under the latest Mac OS X's preferences. So maybe a lil trick if you suffer the same symptoms. FYI just in case!
