It's worth noting that these earbuds, significantly cheaper (and feel very cheap) are known to be about the best cheap pair of earbuds you can buy: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082303&p_id=8320&seq=1&format=2
I'm betting the ones listed here will be pretty decent, given that information.
These are actually really different from those under 10 dollar earbuds. The major thing that these have is Active Noise Canceling, which is actually pretty great. It is powered, so it does need a battery, but the tech in these is comparable (and much less expensive) with this line of Bose headphones. http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/noise_cancelling_headphones/index.jsp

Yes, I was aware. :) I was simply pointing out that I think Monoprice has a fairly decent track record in making great earbuds for cheap. Thanks for the clarification!

Does anyone have a link to these on Monoprice? I'm having a hard time finding these earbuds (as they don't appear to be headphones in the image -- real headphones keep coming up in searches instead.)
