How do these compare to the M-Audio AV 40 that pop up here sometimes? Is that just apples and oranges?

NaderB' AV 40', use a 4 inch (100mm) Mid / Bass driver ..... verses a 5 inch, on the Monoprice !
Probably closer to the M- Audio ' BX 5'.
Plus, as described here - Both drivers are "magnetically shielded" .
So these Monoprice ' 5 inch ' powered Monitors , are Safe for ANY Audio and Video application.
Where is the Vendor, to verify my statements ???
