Capable of tracking the date, 24-hour time, and a second time zone, the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Dual Time doesn’t skimp on functionality despite its minimal look. Styled in silver with accents of blue on the GMT hand and the 24-hour dial, the watch has a classic look with a hint of flair—but not so much that it’s flashy Read More
Beautiful ,elegant and not too understated but just a couple of mm's too small for me! Oh! and also about a $1000 too much for me. Need another lotto ticket.
Very happy to be included in this drop. I went to see the watch in person in a b&m store a few days ago and was very impressed with the quality of construction the reasonable size and the thinness of the case. Can't wait to have it in my wrist! Should i mention that the asking price for this beauty was 4700€ ! It is one of the best deals ever in massdrop.
Any chance we can get a drop going for the heritage ultra slim? Much nicer than this piece, cleaner dial and proper dress watch size (38mm from memory).
They just don't look right on me, a 38mm makes it look like I'm wearing a children watch on my 8" wrist. The point is that there is no "proper" size, buy what fits and looks good on you.
KethActually I think it is because we get used to seeing big watches on our wrists that we think that smaller ones look like kids watches but, wear a smaller watch for a couple of months and you will start to appreciate it.
Anyone know the lug-to-lug measurement? I like the looks of this watch, but Blancpain watches tend to be large for my small wrists. Also, 3 bar water resistance makes me a little nervous.
brothertimeI can't speak to the specs, but I can say that I previously owned this watch, and it fit fine on my 6.75" wrist. It's probably a tad larger than I'd like for a dressier watch, but looked fine and there was no lug overhang. It seems to hug my wrist well.
I think Montblanc are making some fine watches, many with their own movement. But I'll have to pass on these models. I'm sort of old fashioned when it comes to the dial and hand display. I have to be able to actually see the time. So silver hand-sets on white dials don't work for me. Maybe 25 years ago, but not now. Lots of other nice Montblancs to admire though.
SefaliMontblanc still wants just north of $4k for it on their site, so if you're seriously considering this watch, I'd buy it here and take your own pics ;- )
