This really is a great deal for the money, but it’s the lack of a manufacturer warranty that kills it for me. Now, knock another $1k off the price to under 2k and I’d gamble.
WatchyoutalkingaboutI joined. Grey market price seems to be between 3k & 5k USD, but there's no wide availability. Buying from an AD means no less than 7.5k USD + taxes.
While I usually buy from AD considering the warranty, my reality is that I've never needed it. And the fact that my watch has been bought through an AD hasn't allowed me to get a better resale price, because when I consider selling it, the warranty has usually ended anyway.
So this time I'm joining and anyway there's one year warranty... If this drop confirms I'll write a review giving as most details regarding who the actual vendor is...
Founded in the early 1900s, Montblanc started out making high-quality fountain pens, which naturally led to watchmaking. Yes, that's a natural progression!!
Oh dear ...
ye I always use Jomashop as a reference point as I don’t think MD beat it usually.
But i have just used Canadian Costco to purchase a Baume & Mercier Clifton for cheaper than jomashop just got to shop about 🤙🏼
BmagicJomashop very commonly lists very low prices that may not ever have been on their 'out of stock' items. If ever you do a google search and find a 'gasp!' really really low price at Jomashop, click on it and almost always it's an item that is not in stock.
Yup, the bracelet definitely wears larger than its actual size. All my extra straps are 20mm, I’ll have to get a wider one to try with this and see if it feels better.
The Glashütte looks beautiful!
loopingyetiYes, there was an option with leather strap but just as you, I never get leather strap when a bracelet is available. You may consider these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079Y742JD
Which have outstanding quality.
Thanks for your comments regarding the Glashütte. Add you can see, I immediately took off the leather strap.
ED61I usually buy only from AD. I must admit that I've never need any warranty with my watches. Hopefully this one won't need any sort of warranty. Anyway, considering you're saving like $4,500.00 USD, I'm almost sure that no repair will cost that amount. And that assuming MD warranty would be useless, which I hope won't be the case at all.
MarPablIf you like this watch and you usually shop at the AD then i think you might wanna pull the trigger before the drop ends I’ve been observing the MD community for a couple of years now I’ve never heard of any issues with authenticity so yes that price is for real good luck
