This watch has the beauty of detail I expected from any product from Montegrappa. I have had it only briefly but I have two small concerns. The watchband appears to be some kind of shiny synthetic material that looks kind of cheap and is somewhat inflexible and uncomfortable compared with a good leather band. I will probably change it. I have also noted that the set knob isn't entirely secure. On the first day of wearing I observed that the time was off by about 6 minutes at the end of the day. Ultimately I realized this was due to movement on my wrist. It seems like the knob doesn't lock in place very securely.
All that aside, this is a large, visually stunning wrist watch that looks great if you want a fairly dressy look at a very reasonable price.
