Based in the Italian town of Bassano del Grappa since 1912, Montegrappa makes beautiful pens that inspire the writer to write. From the company’s Fortuna Credo series, the Schema pays tribute to the power of prayer Read More
Dear Massdrop, if you want to coax $250 out of my wallet, you need to start including the weight of the body and cap on some of these more obscure pens (hey, why not go the extra mile and include it with every pen you offer). Just a thought.
The description says "Steel barrel engraved with Shema Yisrael prayer". Could someone clarify if both the black and silver pen bodies are indeed made of steel? I can't seem to find a review on this pen, but websites selling the pen indicate it's resin. I've also seen this pen made in other materials (like olive wood) so perhaps there are both resin and steel bodied versions of this pen?
"the Schema pays tribute to the power of prayer..."
Evidently these didn't have prayer of selling at the original MSRP?
Guessing it's going to take an act of god to move more than a couple of 'em here!
PS: I'm praying for less religiosity (and better looking pens) in future MD drops!
