I ordered this pen, received it in a timely manner and there was a convertor included. I am very happy with this addition to my pen collection.

Per the photos, what's truly incredible is that one of the included "converters" converts this fountain pen into a ballpoint with different colored lettering on the cap!

I understand that, but, a member who has now deleted his post made out that a converter was a roller to fountain and vice versa.

Compared with most Montegrappa offerings here at this price range, at least this has a gold nib.

No converter included? The last Montegrappa I bought without a converter couldn't take an international converter (not even the short one) so not sure I trust this pen as pretty as it looks. Anyone know if it can actually be used with a converter?

Nice pen--and the dog-whistle references to Italy, Italians and gifts, are obviously intended to suggest you show some respect and buy one of these for your local mob-boss--if you know what's good for you!

RayFMy grandma is Mangano from Sicily, so I think one of my family members is in that photo. But my great grandfather was very opposed to talking about that side of our family so not 100%.
