Product Description
In a world where pens are always rolling off desks, it’s hip to be square—square barreled, that is. Thanks to its flat, four-sided design, the Monteverde Cube fountain pen stays right where you left it Read More
I received my pen on March 2018 but found it totally lacking in quality. The cap is not tightly fit and there is a kink/dent on the exterior cap section and the converter does not fit at all. It cannot be inserted into the pen as if a plastic is blocking the mouth of the converter preventing its entry into it. In short, the converter is not meant for the pen at all. So what use if both pen and converter are sold together but cannot function as one piece.
martinmcdIf the photo is representative, it's brass. Doesn't have a lot of thickness, so it doesn't add a lot of weight. Also, you can't place the cap on top of the Barrell.
I have the roller ball equivalent of this pen and it's amazingly comfortable to write with...EXCEPT...with the roller ball, the pen naturally rotates 45° and my thumb naturally rests on the flat face. Unless you can rotate the nib to accommodate that grip, I see this fountain pens ergonomics as problematic. If the discussion moderator can verify nib adjustment, I'll buy this pen. Also, it's not a large pen. It works for me because I don't have large hands.
