I have an Invincia Deluxe in Rose Gold and the carbon fiber finish on the barrel of the pen was chipping off. I also have an issue where the converter that came with it is somehow letting some ink escape. I don't have this issue with any of my other pens.
I hope the paint in this version is also of a better quality. My invicia has had paint chip off around the grip section, something that's never happened on a pen I've owned. This is a heavy pen. Mine writes okay, but it's never quite made it into regular use. Overall, based on my experience with this pen, I'm not planning on getting another Monteverde.
awkThere is only one shade of blue for the Invincia. I've owned all three color versions in the past and they pretty much look as shown in the Massdrop photos. The caps have a distinct metallic (anodized aluminum) sheen, the Goulet photo makes it look almost like lacquer.
Which version of nibs is this? They've made 3 different nibs, with the first two having flow problems. Hoping this is the v.3 which seems to have remedied the previous issues.
Stephen,
Thank you for the explanation. I certainly didn't know that a replacement nib would void the warranty; that seems a little extreme but I guess we don't make the rules.
