I don't know you guys, but I don't see myself using this key... for keys that you always use like Enter or Shift I would prefer it with a resin top cover. Don't get me wrong, this key looks awesome and the amount of detail is incredible, just for a key that I always use I would choice a more natural feeling.

Maybe if this key were in resin or something for the full block shape, and also protecting?

kirklandfruitsThat´s what I was thinking about. This key have an irregular top shape so it may feel weird while typing, if it was covered by resin with a more natural feeling it would be nice. The thing with this configuration is that in the current form this key can be use in any profile but if you cover it up with resin you are limited to one, so you will have to provide choices for user that use OEM, cherry, dsa, etc.

The build quality is absolute TRASH. This happened within less than 5 minutes of getting the product...not impressed at all.

jtrouvereoh, so it's just another resin-cast and painted thing. those things are pretty fragile.
i've got this incense boat thing made of the same stuff, with a similar dragon motif. i've had to epoxy-back its head in 3 different places along its neck, and its wing once. it breaks in a new place every time!
presumably the same would work with this cap, but obviously not everyone is comfortable mixing together the parts or dealing with proper ventilation or leaving it to cure for 24 hours somewhere.
plus, my incense holder was pretty cheap. not $65 lol

Would like to know if the brass is lacquered or not. Enter and shift are commonly-used keys and I can imagine the oils from your fingers, sweat and other substances tarnishing this pretty quickly. But it looks great!

Lol. What i mean is it is coated with a different type of protector, not lacquer :D

Nano ceramic coatings that can be sprayed on, or applied like car wax are becoming very common for parts like this. So his saying "Nano Liquid" is probably quite accurate. They can be tailored for their expected environment.

Won't the gold one lose it's colour real quick because it's brass based? What about the other colours? The gold as it is pictured is really nice though!
I really want one but have to decide on the colour, do you have examples of how the different colours will look after a month or so?

Ok I'm almost sold here. Memeda baby dragon owner here love it but it's not usable. How painful is this to press in?. Also how likely is the stem to be loose like the baby dragon?.

will it "sink" gateron silent red switches? what i mean is will the weight of the keycap cause the switch to contract even when you don't press down on the key?
