Great looking wrist rest. The resin coating is even and clear, with slight imperfections on the lower edges. The bottom portion of the rest is not as polished/smooth as the other surfaces (not a bad thing, per se, but worth pointing out). The rest is lifted by 5 soft resin (or rubber or silicone?) feet. For me, the wrist rest is great. Sits slightly higher than the Keychron wooden wrist rests (which are also a good option and significantly less expensive). Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.
I put a few photos up if you'd like to see the wrist rest that I received.

I would recommend this product to a friend with decent disposable income at hand.

I agree with Alvnaur, I was nervous after reading the first reviews, but it came out wonderfully. The varnish is fantastic and the resin is smooth with no imperfections. The wood coloration is less red than the advertising photos, but it looks beautiful. The color matches closer to Roccosem's rest than to Alvnaur's (could be due to the lighting).
Functionally, it is the perfect height and width for my Logitech Lightspeed TKL. The rubber feet grip ferociously to the vinyl desk pad and the colors add just the right amount of accent to my desk. Sure, the ocean surf is a bit 'interpretive' but I knew I wasn't getting a museum quality rendering. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
Not worth it, the piece is not completely varnished, blotches of white paint on all the sides and the detail seems slapdash with bubbles inside the resin and some of the sand used inside protruding out.
I will not be requesting a replacement because I need dont want to deal with the hassle but it came damaged at a couple of places.
Actual review: It looks beautiful, the finish is smooth, though the smoothness is not even on the back side, parts are smooth and parts are not. I was hoping for a more even finish.
There were a couple of spots where it is damaged which is unfortunate and I wish that was not the case. Overall, if it were cheaper I would recommend it but at the price the quality was way too bad.
PS: also it is wobbly and that had to be fixed. And it has what looks like dirt if not bubbles trapped in the epoxy but you have to look for it.
Started to wobble and deform, always kept it in dry spots with normal room temperature.
I would not recommend this as a wrist rest you actually want to use.
The underside also is very rough and seems unfinished.
The devil is in the details when it comes to this type of "artisan" craftwork, and I had high hopes given the glowing reviews for Moon Key. But the product I received was a disappointment.
The good:
Nice wood color and grain
Clean coating, though underside is not finished
The bad:
Waves look like glued-on cotton candy; does not look anything like the photos
The ugly:
Foam on the rocks look like white mold - so ugly that it would have been better to not have it at all.
Overall, a letdown. I do understand that $80 is not much to pay for one of Moon Key's wrist rests, and perhaps my expectations were too high. But what I received is an item that is simply not aesthetically pleasing, which defeats the purpose. I would send it back if I could.
UPDATE: The wrist rest has started warping now, less than a month after I received it. Now what used to be ugly but usable has become unusable. DO NOT BUY!
