Random ping/scratch ruins the experience.
I installed the Tactile Tessence switches on the home row and thumb cluster of my Moonlander to try them out. The rest of the Moonlander uses Glorious Pandas.
The feel is very similar, I like the feel, they're just ever so slightly softer, have more give, they're good in that regard.
But the sound... just every so often there's a sharp ping and scratch... almost squeaky. The pandas have a nice consistent thock but there's no real consistent sound with these. I dunno why but it bugs the crap out of me every time I hear it.
I tried taking them out and hand lubing them to see if that'd make a difference, it made them smoother but that sound is still there.
When I took them apart and reassembled them I noticed that the switch housing feels more loose and less sturdy than the Pandas. The keys also feel more wobbly when installed on the board.
I'm not one to dabble in different switches because the Panda been good to my fingers but I was hoping to find something new and enjoyable in these.
Sad, but I'll probably pull these out and put the Pandas back in.

I like them, but they aren't perfect
Its weird having modern switches with loose housings, but they do feel nice

Definitely high quality, just not the feel for me
I love tactile switches, but these were just a bit too sharp on the tactile bump for me. For me it was too much effort to press, then a really sharp tactile edge, and then felt like falling over a cliff.

Linear Lunalight Switches
Have keyboards with both tactile and linear variants. Both are suited primarily for typing, but linear switches are more than suitable for gaming.

A good first try for the company
Not sure what to say other than the linears switches feel very generic. Got it on the sale price of $25 and they are a nice novelty with some nice packaging but if you're not a big moondrop fan there are other linears that are a better deal.

Not the best, not the worst
For the price there are much better options out there. The stem wobble is not awful but not very good. The sound profile also is just ok, on par with most budget switches you might find in a prebuilt board. The action was nice and smooth on the ones I had, lubing seemed consistent so there is that. Also anime girl post card, the most important part.
