Initial impressions - the tips suck but the packaging is great
So far, 10min out of the box, and I've decided all the included tips suck. small, med, large all too small. The fitment is so loose, The wire loop over the hear is the only saving grace, and only just so. The packaging is creative to say the least. It's protective and clean, the anime drawing was not something I expected. As such, some of the documentation and cards within are severely lacking, It's probably just due to the country of origin and lack of interest in spending real time in a good manual. the included felt-lined blue leather case (real I don't know?) I really dig. The black coating is clean, and aesthetically minimalist. There is a nice weight, but not too heavy. combined with the loose fitting tips, it's like it's not really in my ear at all. Comfy in a certain way, but I wonder if I'm loosing bass response because of this? .... Yup, I am, after pressing and holding them into my ears. Perhaps some break in will also help here.. Remember I'm only 10, now 20min into this. The cable the smooth and pliable, doesn't seem to tangle in itself all that much, but the twists inconsistent. There is a decent strain relief on the 3.5mm plug. Overall the sound is a little harsh on some flac encoded depesche mode. Pink Floyd was okay, nothing standout. IU's jam jam which has a great bass guitar riff in the beginning, that was just missing any solid bass notes. Sad really, as I love that opening. Jethro Tull, some edge harshness in his voice and thickness in the midrange. I really hope the 100hr break-in does the trick here. I'm not digging these thus far. I'll switch to a different amp/dac in a bit and compare This is an initial review, I hope my feelings change over time here. I have to say, I didn't read into this all that much, but I was confused into thinking this was a drop collaboration. The name, the minimalist design, and even the model designation; is very similar to Drop's own collaboration headphones. My mistake.

mitch_dropYou definately have fitment issues. You could/should try some different tips. A good seal is required for any IEM will sound bad. Good luck. I hope they work out for you.

TheOneAndOnlyI did get in on the recent comply tip drop the other week and ill give it a go. But yes i agree that proper fitment and a seal is important, its just strange that wasn't even possible with the included tips. Not any one of them. i did add an eq and that helped a lot with the lowend and tune out some harshness. I’m using either a CEntrance dac or a psaudio sprout for my amp.
