njwegno removable cable tho so thats a downside but yeah i agree the chus are pretty good, best $20 option imo

The only thing they have in common with the Starfields is the color and the cable. These are Moondrop SSRs with a new look.

Does it have a battery pack for the IEM’s and a transmitter for the audio board?

Now that it has sold through, will it still ship on january 18 or will it come earlier? I'm not familiar with this system

Not how this works. The way drop works for stuff like this is they need to sell X units to get the price from the vendor. Once the date arrives the order is placed and then it is shipped. It's crowd sourcing a group bulk buy. Generally takes a moment or so but often the price is really good.
The reverse is that drop often has stock of some of their own products, or stock from other bulk buys. That ships from them as you order it.
There's also part of the system where we all vote for the products we want. So if there is something you want that isn't here create a poll and maybe it will be here! For Moondrop itself drop stocks and sells their own collaboration with them, the KXXX which is really good.
