Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 11/5. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 11/6 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Morakniv Bushcraft Survival Black and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 11/5.

The lowest price for this is generally what I see this knife going for elsewhere. That said, it's a great knife. I have one, and it's definitely worth the asking price here of $50.

I'm getting so annoyed about this "We're not shipping internationally, ha ha to you" thing Massdrop has going on. Yesterday, I could have ordered this to Finland, but not today. We don't have strict import policies concerning blades. The only restriction is that the knife can't be automatic, assisted opening knives are ok.

HerwoodsterIt's probably not about import/export laws, but rather restrictions imposed by the manufacturer to honor agreements with other distributors. There may a distributor in Finland who has negotiated exclusive rights to sell Mora products in the Finnish market. (These agreements don't always favor us in the USA. They've often made it difficult for me to get British goods when the exclusive US distributor suddenly ceases operation.)
That said, there are some fine blades produced in Finland as well. Marttiini makes similar blades at a similar price point.

Direct quote from Massdrop: "Due to ever tightening regulations on the importation of knives around the world, orders containing knives have been subject to increased scrutiny and seizure at customs. We had to make the very difficult decision to suspend the sales of knives outside of the US.". This sucks...

So it arrived today in Canada, ~$18 for Tax and handling so $48.99 USD is $61.24 CAD plus the $18.00
is $79.24 CAD total Amazon.ca lists this for $101.00 CAD so .....
Win! Thanks again Massdrop (please look into a canadian distrubution hub so i don't have to pay extra for tax and handling, but still WIN)
