I so hope this isn't a mistake....
One of the images is a clear shot of the left hip of a person, drawing or sheathing a knife with their left hand, from a sheath hanging from a belt at the 9 o'clock position on same left hip,
Please tell me the image is correct, not mirrored.
Since I'm bringing it up, does anyone have a source for lefty/ambi sheaths that match the economical value of Mora products?

Does the knife have a full tang? I haven't been able to find any info on that.

akmjolnirThe only full tang model produced by Morakniv is the Garberg, and it is a fantastic knife. This is their standard companion model or close to it. Very robust despite the halftang and a solid budget knife. I might get this combo to try their axe out. I use their woodcarving knives, and own a lot of their fixed blade models. Every single one has proven to hold a great edge and be durable.

akmjolnirFull tang as a basis for buying a knife is overrated, especially concerning Moraknives. These knives with a partial tang will take a beating that would cause a cheaper full tang knife to fail. Especially since this is in a combo with an axe, why would you even need it to baton?

The Mora 2000 looks a bit dated compared with the new Kansbol, but still a great set.

Question for the admins: It looks like sales tax for California on this item is being charge on the cost of the item and shipping combined? Since when was shipping taxed?

I just purchased this Morakniv axe through a different vendor and wish I would have waited on this Massdrop offer... Live and learn...
The axe is awesome, though I must admit it is the first small axe I have ever owned.
To be fair, I would consider it a large hatchet more accurately. Phenomenal shed-tool nonetheless.

It says there is a restriction on shipping, yet says that it can be shipped to AUSTRALIA, anyone have any further details on this?

I purchased this item on Amazon for $57.56. It is currently available for $69.22 Even with that bump in price it costs nowhere near $99. Not sure if that MSRP came directly from Mora but using it at a basis for calculating savings is misleading.
