Still almost $10 cheaper on Amazon with prime, and the only difference being this one here has a straight edge on the plain knife, vs a curved belly there :

Can anyone here share any disadvantages to having a belly on a carving knife that would make the price increase here worthwhile?
Also, does this one come with a sheath for the straight knife?

KavikThis is a different model, it is the 120 you show here - this on massdrop is the model 122, which cost 5 euro more in their own web store than the 120.

confactYes, I understand that. I know price wise they are a little different if bought individually (the 120 vs the 122), just didn't know which is the more practical knife to get as a beginner, or if it doesn't really matter

Ive been checking this set out for a while as well. This isn't a very good price. For about a dollar more you can have it in two days with Amazon Prime. You can get it for even less if you go with a non-prime seller.

swimifyI suggest looking at Pfeil, among the most well known wood carving tools in the world, check their official website for local distributors/retailers. They are also among the most easily obtainable. SG Land has an outlet though there may still be one in My. Hope this helps.
