Still almost $10 cheaper on Amazon with prime, and the only difference being this one here has a straight edge on the plain knife, vs a curved belly there :

Can anyone here share any disadvantages to having a belly on a carving knife that would make the price increase here worthwhile?
Also, does this one come with a sheath for the straight knife?

KavikI whittle/carve and find a straight edge is best for most work I do. That said, the one you show is not so curved I could not use it. However, for me, it's probably worth the $10 difference to avoid having to reshape the blade.

KavikThis is a different model, it is the 120 you show here - this on massdrop is the model 122, which cost 5 euro more in their own web store than the 120.

confactYes, I understand that. I know price wise they are a little different if bought individually (the 120 vs the 122), just didn't know which is the more practical knife to get as a beginner, or if it doesn't really matter
