Setting the gold standard in PCB stabilization, Morgrie’s new stabilizer set features components optimized for strength and ultra-smooth action. First up are the gold-plated wires, which reduce friction while improving oxidation resistance Read More
Got mine in today (Canada). The packaging is very nice, somewhat wasteful and because of the size of the boxes they came in and the fact I ordered 5 I got hit with extra fees.
But I will be keeping the boxes for stab organization. They should add a picture of the packaging.
They look very nice which was the primary reason I choose to order some (sadly the one build I had planned fell through) and they fit together well. We will see how good they are once I get a build together using a set.
I got mine a few days ago. I was extremely impressed with the packaging and the stabs look really good. I can't comment on how they feel because they are for a future project but I am super impressed with the care it seems they took with these.
From Morgrie’s website:
“Product introduction:
With gold-plated wires and POM stabilization parts, the stabilizers in this set are both strong and lubrication.Engineered for MX-compatible PCBs. They drastically reduce noise during typing and prevent standard Cherry PCB mount stabilizers from popping during custom builds. Gold plating provides smooth and oxidation resistance, while transparent components enhance backlighting, making these stabilizers a great choice for boards featuring floating-key designs. With "pre-clipped” inserts to eliminate the need for feet clipping, The nuts are set into the plastic for added durability.A variety of color matching, with different keyboard shell, looks very beautiful.”
Where does it say PCB and plate mount compatible? Can Drop confirm they have a special morgrie stab version or that they made a typo?
Not sure how fast Morgrie ships but I’m pretty sure they’re the same price and in stock there...
jaybeeayyyThey charge 6 bucks for shipping, but truth be told, at least you will not have to wait 10+ years not accounting delays for the apparently never heard before Chinese New Year.
Does anyone know if these fit the Drop Carina? I see it states that it's engineered for screw-in and plate mount but they look very different from the ones that came with the Carina. Thanks!
