Product Description
The Morgrie RKB68 Bluetooth keyboard is streamlined in virtually every respect—but it doesn’t skimp on comfort or ergonomic performance. Standing just 18 millimeters tall, this ultra-slim board comes equipped with Kailh’s well-received choc switches and durable, dye-subbed PBT keycaps Read More
I purchased and own the Morgrie Rie. It is a beautiful piece of hardware but it was too buggy to use. The price to ship back to China and then coronavirus has it packed for shipping and sitting in my closet unused. I hope they worked out the kinks on this one because it looks great.
d_flo_yoAgreed. I got the keyboard and the num pad and was really disappointed. Poor quality control and I wasn't going to pay to ship it back. Key caps were chipped, the connectivity is all over the place, the numpad won't charge unless it is held just so, almost imperceptible device LEDs, ridiculous and iffy pairing method (no instructions initially btw). I'd stay away.
This is nice to hear. If you'd like to send me a working unit that would be great. The expense to ship the keyboard+numpad to China seems like a waste of resources for everyone.
The photo for the white option looks gray compared to what is shown in the photos on Morgrie's website. Does the white option being offered here differ from the one shown on their website, or is the difference in color just an effect of the lighting in the different photos?
jazenka101Most unfortunate. I'm glad I just opted to cancel. I'll just order the RKB60 straight from their site or swing back around and get the 68 when it's in stock.
Without programmability, which I assume there is none because it's not mentioned, this is a no-go. Very bummed, because I've wanted a low-profile 65% for quite a while.
TeaspoonAHK is not a viable option (for me) for a couple reasons. First, I don't have control over software installs on all the computers I'd want to use it with (namely the work ones). Second, AHK doesn't have all the features of QMK that I use.
I'm a little annoyed with myself for breaking down and buying a cheap BT Mech keyboard from Evil Mr. Bezos. I've been waiting for solid portable mechanical keyboards with Bluetooth for-effing-ever!
binhongleeYou are correct. That's my fault, I had been looking at so many 60/65% Bluetooth Hotswap keebs for a friend that I accidentally added that one feature (but if it helps any, it has two usb-c ports, (like the drop ALT and CNTRL, so you could def plug in a USB Bluetooth adapter to make it Bluetooth compatible.... Not to be confused with Bluetooth dongle that you would stick in your computers usb port)
I'm fine with waiting and I understand that delays happen - not only in this market generally, but also with the current state of everything. However.. that's no excuse not to give an update to customers.
zenomorphBefore I cancelled and decided to not do business with Drop anymore I did email them. It took them a few days to reply back. They said they would email the vendor and update everyone in the chat. After a week of nothing, I emailed them again. They responded back with something along the lines of "we never agreed to that. If the vendor doesn't talk to us we aren't going to update our customers." I told him if he can't give me some sort of information to cancel the order. They refunded my money the next day. Drop doesn't give a crap about the customers. They are just middlemen who get a cut. I have made way too many purchases with Drop over the years and this is by far the worst experience. Morgie already stocked and sold out of this exact keyboard on their site since November 6th. Something is for sure fishy about this deal. I can't believe you all are still waiting. Such a shame.
corymrussellI saw this as well. I'd be interested to see what the delivery date is for Morgrie if people order there instead. I've been committed to this purchase for so long that I'm afraid to cancel and order again to just pay more money for it to arrive at the same time it would have been here anyway.
If anyone cancels their Drop order and purchases from Morgrie instead, I'd be curious to hear about the results!
kaueaI cancelled and ordered directly from Morgrie yesterday. I received a shipping notification today. I'll update this when I receive the keeb.
edit: Got the keeb on 1/25 after some shipping delays.
SpencerLis/was the manufacturing consigned by massdrop?
those are renders, right?
any idea why just 3 sides of the case instead of all 4 have the same amount of "overhang"?
