This product is very dishonest. It will not protect your ankles - 0 impact protection, and inadequate coverage of the ankle/shin area for abrasion as well! This is little more than a deceitfully advertised men's wearhouse dress shoe with allegedly better exterior strength. It would never survive a crash or protect you if you did crash.

EARiderYou're totally correct on all counts. The "protection" offered is minimal, at best. However, that's not the intent of this boot. It think it's more designed to be a stylish boot that can handle getting a little more action out of a shifter and soles that won't melt from being near an exhaust.
If your focus is on fashion over function, then this would be a good boot choice for riding. I could see myself wearing these while on one of my vintage bikes, but never while riding one of my modern sport bikes.

xalsxThe least they could do is not call it a motorcycle anything as that implies that there is protection of some kind in the design otherwise may as well call it a pair of sandals. :) It's just deceptive advertising practices.
