Is the shifter extra leather near the toes replaceable? it will wear quicker than the rest of the top of the boot.

fredfuchsIt'll wear down quicker, but unless the rubber on your shifter is about gone (like mine), it's going to take a LOT of wear to get through that pad.

fredfuchsThe shifter pad extra leather is very thick, but it depends on whether you have a rubber or metal shifter. If you're conditioning your leather (we recommend using mink oil), the shifter pad might outlast your bike...just like horse saddles. It's also replaceable as well. :-)

fredfuchsIf you manage to wear that leather down, then wow. You either have sandpaper on your shifter, or you never get off your bike. :-)

motobaileysI been wearing my shoe for about a week now, but I notice my right shoe heel creaks every time I walk on them. The left seem to be fine. Is there a way I can exchange for another? Other than that I have enjoyed them a lot.
