I'm thrilled to begin working with Mountain Hardwear on their lightest line of tents. The Ghost UL are pretty amazing - free standing, mostly double-wall, and super light. They share a likeness with several Big Agnes tents, and similarly are a bit skimpy in floorspace. If you want to save weight, this is a great tent. But if you want to save weight but have a bit more elbow room, then I suggest moving up in size. For example, if you're looking for a light yet roomy 2-person tent, consider the 3-person version. If you really like your camping partner and weight is paramount, stick with the 2-person.
natluxtonDid you have any particular 4-season tent in mind? We will soon have a drop for Big Sky Chinook, which is a fantastic UL tent worthy of winter alpine use. As for MHW, I am looking at the Direkt for UL, and the Trango and EV line for Outdoors. The Trango is a beast to carry but man is it strong!
