Inspired by the Colorado fourteener peaks, the Mountain Khaki Fourteener men’s fleece jacket provides four-season warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. Ideal as a mid or outer layer, the 11-ounce jacket has a thick polyester shearling outer and a wind-resistant taffeta lining Read More
This jacket looks warm and cozy to me. It says taffeta lining so it should have good wind resistance. The fleece lining on the collar should keep the neck warm as well. I think you guys are overthinking the cotton trim which is obviously a style detail, not a performance add. I get the hipster pipe smoker poke, but is that a reason not to buy a jacket?
I really like the looks of this jacket but why oh why would they add cotton trim onto a cold weather outdoor jacket? Guess its just for fashion and not meant to be a cold weather outdoor jacket. Oh well, pass.
grubbsterAnd a big stripe of cotton right on the neck line, just where you don't want heat escaping!

grubbsterSeriously? Cotton?
i was thinking of this jacket because of the taffeta lining ( agreat idea IMO) but cotton? that killed it for me. The makers have never hiked, presumably.
