These shorts are actually tough as nails. heavy canvas construction, large carpenter style back pockets and a cell phone / utility pocket on thigh. Definitely needs a backside image, but have no doubt about the ruggedness or durability of these shorts!!!

SierraHikerWhat is waist sizing like? I'm on the fence between a 30 and 32. If the waist is slightly bigger, I'll go with 30.. thanks in advance for any info

toddverroneI would say the waist is pretty spot on, they don't run big. The Grosgrain-lined waistband doesn't allow for stretch thru the waist, so if they are snug they aren't getting looser over time.
