I fill it. I'd fill any bag. This one stops me carrying unnecessary stuff. Well made. Well thought out.

I bought the Lumbar Pack primarily as a commuting pack. I have a 15 minutes walk to the train station from my house in the morning and then again back in the afternoon. Since I live in Israel, this means one thing - a sweaty back when walking with a backpack. After seeing and reading reviews, I thought the LP would be a nice solution. The bag is sturdy but still light enough. Good strong zippers. The LP stays firm on your hips once you adust the various straps. It doesn't bounce even when you jog with it, which I had to do once or twice. Of course, it's much smaller than regualr EDC backpacks, which means you'll need to downsize, and leave behind stuff. The hipbelt pocket is very handy. I put my train card and wallet. I wish they had put another one on the left one as well. I use the concealed backpocket for storing my phone, instead of having it bulging in the pocket of my pants. The side pockets are very accessible and it's very easy for me to draw my water bottle (500 cc) on the walk, and then stash it back inside. The daisy chain and bunjee cord are useful as well. I stuck some pens, and hang a cap and foldable towel. There are also compression straps at the bottom, which I have started using for storing folded newspapers, but they can used for sticking walking poles, clothes and whatever. All and all, very pleased with this purchase. Would have given another star if it had more organization and the second hipbelt pocket.

This is a great hiking pack. It's super comfortable and holds my 32oz RTIC bottle. When they come back I will definitely be buying another one for my son.

This pack deeply pissed me off within two weeks of getting it. The center zipper split. Then the seam ripped laterally from the zipper to the main compartment. I got this pack to replace an Amazon knockoff with a name brand higher quality and more expensive doppelgänger. Appalled by how fragile and short lived it ended up being. Very disappointing.
