It's a robust, ie heavy (32oz for mine w/ guylines but w/o stakes) , tarp which means that it will be a solid piece of equipment and for its intended use is really solid. I volunteer with outdoor adventures with Girl Scouts and it is a keeper. Stakes are steel and replaced with groundhogs. Tieout lines are larger diameter and ok, but I have a bunch of thinner and lighter cord for replacing. The coverage is impressive and even though it's bulkier than a backpacking tarp f, it's a lot lighter than canvas shelter halves. Great for canoe/kayak/car camping or backpack trips where some extra bulk won't matter. Fits a lot typical camping needs

I like this better than my Kelly Noah tarp. Well made and has become a permanent part of my car camping set up. Might even take it backpacking too.
