Believe me when I say his work is top notch. No pun intended. Each one is hand finished and is an amazing spinner. If you're thinking about getting into the world of high end tops, or have already discovered it, this is a great top to start or add to the collection. Sure 100 dollars seems like a bunch for a toy, but the level of craftsmanship on these is impeccable. There's tops out there that are going for two to three times this amount. Blake is an awesome guy. He's very active in the community, and is a great guy to talk to.

If my wife ever discovered me buying a spinning top for $100+ she would hit the roof. In no way do I mean that offensively to anyone who has done so. I'm just saying the wife acceptance factor (WAF) is zero for this in my relationship. I would never ever be able to bring up money expenditures the rest of our marriage.
