Is this a pretty good deal? I don't know much about laptop gaming

leatherbarrelIt's OK, I would expect Gtx 1070 at this price instead of GTX 1060.
If all you want is gaming then consider the one that cost $850 looks better with GTX 1050 ti

So basically you can pay $400 more and yes you would have a 1070 but every other spec you loose.

thatsoomohiti mean, i'm ok with some tradeoffs on specs. I really get that I'd have to drop more coin for a top-tier gaming laptop and at that point it'd be more cost-effective to build a tower rig. I'm used to console gaming so I don't think I'm gonna lose my mind if my pc can't run Crysis in 4k at 60fps. I do appreciate the other link though!

thatsoomohitBetter display is kind of subjective here. Do you prefer 17.3 at 120hz or 15.6 at 144hz.
Also I'm pretty sure the Helios have light bleed issues.
