Also, I would have to say that Acer is not know for performance computers in general. Actually they do not have a very good reputation for any computer systems. So yes, you can always find something cheaper out there. However the components being used in the MSI computer are better quality than the Acer and the MSI has alot more as well.
UriahillelSure, you can get cheaper Acer model, but look at the cooling inside the laptops.. I would rather go with the MSI that has better built quality, especially the cooling inside the laptop.
p_irateAsus / MSI > pretty much any other gaming laptops. I have a Strix ROG. it's a year old GTX980m, 512 850 NVMe SSD, 16 gb DDR4, 1TB WD Black HDD, G-Sync Monitor, Tears it up for a laptop and about the same size as a MacBook 15". Chiclet keyboard bites. Nothing beats a desktop though. I wouldnt even waste money on an average Acer Laptop let alone a gaming one.
