RSF_Deussorry, but no. this particular armor cooling is more for looks than performance. the one in the gaming x is a very good cooler, but armor editions are just reference boards with a white/black themed cooler. nothing to write home about.
i flipped over 15 gtx 1080s on ebay after snatching them as they were available.
of those, gigabyte g1, asus strix and evga FTW sold the fastest and brought me most money.
the armor OC edition i almost had to give it at my cost.
although in real world applications they are all similar, with no more than 5~10% difference in performance.
But i would not call the ARMOR editions from MSI anywhere near performance oriented or enthusiast.
Also, MSI armor series does not include backplates. They are only the few with a aftermarket cooler and no backplate. Notice the no images of the back of the card. LOL
