Dear Massdrop staff, Thank you for making my night a nightmare when I came home from work, having to learn what the freaking hell a form B374(N10) is, what tariff classification a GPU falls under (I still don't know what it falls under, is a GPU a scientific good used for educational purposes?) and making me almost call an import agent for going over the import restriction of AUD$1000 by AUD$12. You really could have saved me a headache and 2 weeks of my GPU sitting in customs just by helping me out a little and lowering the value by USD$10 or 8 or 7, or anything. I just sent off my import declaration and most likely will have it not go through due to me not knowing what I am doing and screwing something up, which will probably delay the arrival of the GPU by another few weeks. Thanks to this I will never purchase a high value item from Massdrop again.
Cheers, A rather annoyed customer.

Mine just arrived today and finished installing it. Firestrike score was a bit over 30k without any overclock (I use 7700K@4.8Ghz & 16G 3200Mhz overclocked RAMs). I usually don't like RGBs inside my case because I only watch monitor+keyboard and mouse most of the time, but this card really made me put the desktop on top of my desk. very enjoyable lights.

I tested several benchmarks with case covers open, but at most it was around 65 Celsius, and super quiet until I even realize the fan was actually spinning at 80% fast.

Here's some more picture of my current setup :) Thanks MD! I love how it fits my other RGBs.

Reasons why I personally think this is better than any other 1080 Ti's : 1. It's a good investment if you don't plan to upgrade in next 4-5 years (Future proof). (Thinking other 1080 Ti's are around $650~$800 on the market nowadays, and still most 980 Ti's price are about the same with low-tier 1080 Ti's) 2. The lower temperature on whatever you do with this GPU, gives me superior longevity on lifespan of its full potential by far more than any other 1080 ti's out there. (Even though 3-year warranty on this pretty much means nothing on this, because I'm certainly sure it's very unlikely to fail itself.) 3. Worry-free about throttle or system failures unless I accidentally break its parts. 4. Dead silent fans, especially when you are sensitive about noises (And that's probably why I spammed Noctua's A/F fans over Corsair's RGB HD fans, I like it all that fancy but it still gives me some noise issue to be taken care of.) 5. The peace of mind that you have the best graphic card that MSI has to offer on the market at the moment, and not having to worry about upgrade anymore for my daily computing is a huge plus. (Ultimately saves me money.) Well, if you say no, everyone have different purpose for different product so.. whatever :)
PS. To exaggerate a bit, I can barely figure out if the system is on or not, when my eyes are closed :)

WellPlayedCard is a beast. With fans at 60% and very quiet the card runs 2025 solid. I can crank the fans and hit 2075, *on air.* All those people who say this card isn't worth it, go read through the various 1080 ti threads and Overclock.net. All the other cards feature extensive discussions about noise and thermals and undervolting and repasting. None of that applies to this card, just run it ootb at 2+Ghz clocks and little noise.

Just received my gpu brace from Amazon, didn't realise it was going to be made of plastic... Don't really think its going to be sufficient for the Lightning Z. MD, please source some for us, PLEASE.

The height wasn't my problem, there is stuff under my gpu at the moment. That may change when I get the Lightning Z.

Expensive, and to make it work for Lightning Z you need to reverse the bumper stop so it is toward you rather than motherboard, and place it between the last and middle fan. But it's a high quality piece of kit, though again, stupidly expensive for a bit of metal.

As of right now with the currency exchange rates, this comes at right under AUD$1000. XD So hyped to get this installed, already ordered a gpu brace for this big boy.
