A Lightweight Safe Haven
Find protection from the sun, snow, wind, and rain with the MSR Thru-Hiker Wing Shelter. Available in two sizes, it’s made from 20d ripstop nylon with a 1,200mm Durashield coating to ensure it’s ready to take on the elements. You can use a pair of trekking poles or guylines to create a variety of different setups, like a windshield wedge, forest tent, simple fly, rain fly, or A-frame tent. The 70 Wing measures roughly 8 by 9.5 feet and weighs just 12 ounces, while the 100 Wing measures 9.5 by 10.5 feet and comes in at just over a pound.
