This seems overpriced for the specs and weight. I've been very impressed by my Paria outdoor silnylon tarp - its cheaper, lighter and larger. I don't see how this tarp is better in any way.

brown9The Paria products compare very well and I've seen good reviews. Also the Paria as you mentioned has more coverage, and another thing, the Paria is a more typical rectangle as opposed to the slightly hex-shaped (center-line slightly longer than the sides) MSR. Between these 2 if I had to pay full MSRP there's no doubt I'd go with the Paria. Oh, I like the Paria colors too.

I contacted customer support and asked: "On the listing of "MSR Thru-Hiker Wing Shelters" there is confusion as to whether or not the tarp includes stakes and guy lines.
Could someone please clear that up?
