Great stoves - I started with the Wisperlite, and upgraded to the International. If I did not already have the International, maintenance kit, and Trillium stove base (which you need for snow or sand), I'd be in.
Also, it says "annual maintenance kit" but these stoves are bomb proof, and I have rarely needed to do any maintenance.

DavidinMDI wouldn't go more than two years without replacing at least the inlet o-ring on the pump (and the pump-to-bottle ring on older pumps that use it instead of the newer red gasket). Those are two points that you *do not* want to fail in use and if you don't have a spare in the field then you're out of luck. The rubber plunger cups don't last as long as the old leather ones either, but they are consistently reliable for as long as they're sound. Check ball and spring seem to last forever, so those and the other parts are mostly there in case you lose or damage them. If the stove gets a lot of use then yes, annual is absolutely the smartest idea, imho.
