$19 + $12 for 6 Iconic/M25 Masters packs? that's just over $30 for 6 packs...which seems VERY nice! What am i missing here? (Besides the obvious risk of "mapped" boosters...)

leovaThe prices per pack are good. Even looking at the most expensive pack (Rise of the Eldrazi), you're still looking at $16 per pack as compared to $23 on TCGPlayer. The "mapped" boosters situation is the problem. Loose packs can easily come from boxes that were opened where the chase rare or mythic was found already, making the likelihood of those cards being in the rest of the unopened packs are very small. At least with the Masters sets, though, you're still looking at a decent chance of getting good enough foils to make up the cost of not hitting any big rares or mythics.

JDFernandesDawnglare makes the EV for packs clear and available. Do the math yourself before you buy. The "premium" packs in this drop (+77$) for ROE/DST are horrible deals. ROE has an EV of only $5.11 per pack. DST is only marginally better at $7.20. That's $95.99 for an EV of only $31/$43. ZEN has a much better EV but is in the cheaper tier by $11. The only sets that come close to EV in this drop are M11, Masters 25, and Iconic Masters. These are $36 and $31 respectively. They EV to $32 and $38. You want to excite the Massdrop community? Offer Revised, Tempest, Urza, Future Sight, and Shadowmoore. Offer them below EV.
